What Comes From The Magic Within?

This week's tarot reading taps into The Magician energies that have come up for us the past two weeks. It's a continuation of the new adventures and beginnings we are embarking on.

Transcript of reading:

Hello and welcome to another episode of Tarot Tuesday. My name is Kara, and I am your guide and friend through this reading. I use my knowledge of the tarot, intuitive insights, and symbolism drawn from the cards to bring forth messages that will help us, the collective, on our path.

This is a general reading for the week. Please take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that The Magician has come to us in the last two readings. A card of the major arcana, The Magician shows us that we have everything at our disposal to create a new reality and a new life for ourselves. We are being encouraged by spirit to create the life we truly desire. With that, I wanted to continue on this journey of change and personal development. Especially with the new moon, we had over the weekend, many cycles have ended, making space for the new to begin.

For this reading, I asked Spirit what messages they have for the collective this week.

What are the current energies surrounding us?

How can we continue to build this new reality for ourselves?

How can we best live in a state of abundance? Taking care of and treating ourselves to the best of our ability?

9 of Wands - Reversed

If you were to flip the card over you can see this rabbit/cat looking creature has taken a wand from the fence that protects him. He’s created a crack in his foundation and is allowing the snake to enter. He is in danger but only from his own doing. With the card being upside down it’s a message that this energy wants to change and transform. There is no longer a desire to be stuck in this negative space and self-sabotaging energy. The number 9 represents completion and endings. The focus is on how to terminate properly.

The 7 of Swords is the result of treating yourself poorly. Making “a deal with the devil” type vibration. Manipulation Self-deception. I do feel it’s being transmuted by the 9 of Wands in reverse. You can see the figure is wearing all white. All of their swords are out in the open. They are laying everyone out on the table. Hands up in a surrender position, they are willing to change.

And change you get with The Death card. Choosing to let old ways die. Many of us have had sudden endings over the last several weeks. Especially with the new moon, cycles have closed which made way for the opening of new doors. This is a time to honor what we had but know that all things must come to an end and to allow ourselves to be open to the new beginnings ahead.

The Knave of Wands shows us that we must do the work. Whatever it is we have wanted to do or pursue, now is the time. With the ending of old ways, it is the perfect time to put into motion the passion projects, career ideas, or even our wildest dreams, whatever they may be. Like the message from The Magician, We have all we need within. We are powerful beings and when we choose to align, we truly shine.

The 3 of Cups symbolizes a time of joyful celebration. A clarifier that when we put the work into something we will celebrate our progress and the journey it took to achieve our goals and dreams. Following the Knave of Wands, it is a message that the effort put into new ventures or projects can lead to a very prosperous future.

The 8 of Pentacles comes in again this week showing the lush and abundant garden that comes from the result of hard work. Another clarifier that by nurturing ourselves, growing our strengths, and learning new ways to move in life will allow us to reap the rewards. That's what this whole reading has been about. Finding new ways to treat ourselves. New ways to align, to strengthen our community and the collective. To live in peace, harmony, and fulfillment.

New Life and new beginnings come with the Ace of Wands. This is such a beautiful card to end the reading. A very positive outcome. The Cow’s spiritual significance brings a sense of stability. Solid and loving, growth-oriented relationships with the self and others. This card is all about stepping into our authentic power. Cow’s spirit reminds us that we can weather the storm and stand strong no matter how big or what comes our way.

We may feel beaten down this winter. Cold, and alone but know that we can change our perspective. We can choose another way. We can celebrate a new life of acceptance and fulfillment. For we have taken the steps to leave our old lives behind and step into this amazing new future that we create.
